Below is a list of 6 hikes that I personally find incredible no matter how many times I have walked the trail. So, grab your shoes and plenty of water, of course, and hit the trail!
This 1.8 mile, moderate trail leads to a magnificent waterfall! Along the way, you will explore remnants of early Agua Caliente Indian society. Rock art and bedrock mortars dot the trail. This sacred hike is a must do!
The Indian Canyons feature over 60 miles of walking and hiking trails of various intensity. The Palm Canyon Trail will lead you to the world’s largest Washingtonia filifera (California Fan Palm) oasis.
With an elevation change of over 830 feet in under a mile, this strenuous hike is one of the steepest in the San Jacinto Mountains. It's not for the faint of heart, but the view of the valley from the picnic tables is so worth it!
This moderate, 3 and a half mile hike features incredible views of Palm Springs and Bob Hope's house.
This hike is popular amongst fitness folks! It's a strenuous 4.4 mile hike with over 1,000 feet in elevation change. That's sure to get your heart rate up.
About an hour from Palm Springs is a 5 mile hike through a slot canyon. The trail is equipped with ladders to scale the canyon walls, this hike is one of the coolest in the Coachella Valley!
